Flavonoid rich foods
(inlcudes onion, kale, soy and dill)

The nutrients known as flavonoids present in these foods are believed to be helpful in preventing cancer.
Researchers who have been studying the effects of flavonoids believe that they could have many health giving properties, including, but not limited to, anti-candida and antiplatelet properties.
The majority of these are low in calories, so should be included in your diet system.

The Zone Diet
The Zone diet is a weight loss program primarily suggested by Barry Sears in a series of books. The Zone diet isn’t specifically a fat reduction diet, however some people find that they actually lose weight by following it.
The theory behind the Zone Diet is that if one can manage to limit the levels of insulin and glucogen (both hormones), then anti-inflammatory chemicals are released which, as a consequence puts the body in a state of equilibrium that is much, much more healthful than usual, known as the 'zone'.
Sears claims that if you get into this 'zone', your metabolism is working at its most efficient and, as a consequence, does not need to convert surplus energy to fat.
The most valuable technique of the zone system is to maintain the precise ratio of carbs to proteins, and to ensure your diet has high levels of Omega 3 and omega 6.
