Flavonoid foods (inlcudes citrus fruits, broccoli, soya beans & dill) The large family of compounds known as flavonoids which are present in these food types are thought by nutritionalists to have properties in fighting cancer. Medical experts looking into the medical effects of flavonoids think that they also have many other health giving properties, including, but not limited to, anti-viral and antiplatelet properties. The majority of these are also good for weight loss, so should be included in every weight loss regime. |
