Ingredients
INGREDIENTS
1 can cherries, water-pack, tart
1 red, 1 lb.
1/2 cup sugartwin
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
4 drop red food coloring
1 tsp angostura bitters
1 tsp almond flavoring
1 pt strawberries, fresh, whole,
1 or
2 cup strawberries, frozen,
1 without sugar
Directions
DIRECTIONS:
Drain cherries, reserving liquid. Add water to cherry
juice to make 1-1/2 Cups. Blend sweetener,
cornstarch, salt and cherry juice mixture. Cook,
stirring until thickened and bubbly. Add lemon juice,
food coloring, flavoring and fruits. Chill. Serves 6.
If desired, top with 1 T fat-free sour cream or
vanilla yogurt.
